How the compatibility score works
Lovematch is built on Pythagorean numerology. Every letter of a name maps to a number 1–9; from those we derive each person's Expression, Soul Urge, and Personality numbers, and from a birthdate we derive the Life Path number. We then score the harmony between the two people across four dimensions and blend them into one match score.

How is the love compatibility score calculated?
We use Pythagorean numerology. Each name is converted to core numbers (Expression, Soul Urge, Personality) and each birthdate to a Life Path number. We then measure the harmony between the two people across four relationship dimensions and combine them into a single 0–100 match score. It's fully deterministic — the same two people always get the same result.
Do I need birthdates?
No. You can get a compatibility score from two names alone. Adding birthdates unlocks the Life Path & Destiny dimension and makes the overall match more accurate.
What's in the full report?
The free score shows your overall match and a breakdown across Heart, Life Path, Expression, and Attraction. The full report adds a personalized AI love reading, what makes you click, your friction points, and practical advice to grow the connection.
